Here Skillet, Skillet, Skillet
Every month I have the pleasure of working with Molly Kimball, a New Orleans Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, and we get to bake or cook up something tasty in the kitchen. Now you must know, last month was super busy because of July 4th celebrations, traveling cross country to visit retailers carrying and not carrying Swerve (yet), attending trade shows, my mom's birthday, etc...the list could go on and on, but needless to say, I was in a pinch. How do I create and test a fresh new recipe for Molly with limited time?
Fortunately, Swerve just launched a Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, and I thought, "This would be a perfect base for a recipe, and then we will just spice it, or, er, butter it up." And that's what we did. I took the Swerve Sweets Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and added 1/4 cup of Swerve Granular, a few more TBS of butter, and some more Lily's Chocolate Chips, and boom, a rich, decadent, ooey, gooey, chocolate chip cookie skillet was created, and maybe devoured.
The added Swerve brings a little more sweetness, the added chocolate chips a little more decadence, and the added butter, a little more yumminess. Top it off with Swerve Vanilla Ice Cream, or Halo Top Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and you have a match made it heaven!
