Pumpkin season is officially here!

Pumpkin Spice Lattes are being sipped, pumpkin muffins are being shared on your mother-in-law's facebook page, and cans of the pureed goodness are flying off the shelves. 

Did you know pumpkin is actually a very nutritious food? One cup of pumpkin is an excellent source of Vitamin A, keeping your eyes healthy and sharp. Pumpkin also has 3g of fiber and only 50 calories per cup. And because of the carotenoids giving pumpkin it's vibrant, orange pigment, this vegetable could even play a role in cancer prevention.       Hi Deborah, Thanks for your question! Our prebiotic fiber oligiosaccharide blend is considered a resistant starch. It resists digestion in the small intestine, and passes to the large intestine, where it acts as fiber and is fermented, feeding your good gut bacteria! Hope this helps!
