      Hi Deborah, Thanks for your question! Our prebiotic fiber oligiosaccharide blend is considered a resistant starch. It resists digestion in the small intestine, and passes to the large intestine, where it acts as fiber and is fermented, feeding your good gut bacteria! Hope this helps!
