Peach Flognarde

Ingredients

  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ tsp lemon extract (optional)
  • 1 TBS vanilla extract
  • 4 cups of peach slices skins on
  • 1 TBS fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • ½ tsp of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease a 9 X 13 dish
  2. In a medium bowl combine slices peaches, cinnamon, nutmeg, Brown Swerve and lemon juice. Gently fold ingredients until all peaches are covered with ingredients and evenly pour into prepared 9 X 13 dish.
  3. In a large bowl combine cake mix, eggs, buttermilk, butter and extracts. Mix ingredients until they are combined and have a batter like consistency.
  4. Pour batter on top of peaches and evenly spread the batter over peaches
  5. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes until cake batter is firm to touch and golden brown.
  6. Swerve Southern Peach Ice Cream or ice cream of choice. Enjoy!
