Cornbread Pt 2 780

Sweet, Spicy & Savory Southern Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 box of Swerve Sweets Vanilla Cake Mix
- 3 Lg. eggs
- ⅓ Cup olive oil
- ⅓ Cup buttermilk
- 20-30 drops of OOO Flavors Cornbread Flavor
- ½ tsp McCormick Butter Extract
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of black pepper
- ½ tsp. Zatarains Crab Boil
- 2 TBS diced jalapeños
- ⅔ cup corn niblets
- ⅔ cup shredded cheddar jack cheese
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together oil, buttermilk, eggs, cornbread flavor, crab boil, butter extract.
- Stir in corn, jalapeños, salt, pepper, and cheese.
- Stir in cake mix until no lumps remain.
- Pour batter into a square baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 350* for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, glaze with butter and sprinkle with salt.
- Let cool in pan for 15 min.
