DIRECTIONS:
Step 1
Heat oven to 400°. Roll each strip of bacon around itself to form a spiral. You can also cut small notches to replicate rose petals, if it suits you! Use two toothpicks to keep the "roses" together.
Step 2
Place roses on a wire rack. Combine maple extract, Brown Swerve and black pepper in a small bowl, then brush across tops of roses.
Step 3
Bake until the bacon is crisp, about 40 minutes. (Watch carefully to prevent burning.)
Step 4
While the bacon bakes, combine chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler and whisk over low heat to combine.
Step 5
Let bacon cool before dipping the bottom of each rose in chocolate. Allow to set before eating!
