CHOCOLATE GRAVY

DIRECTIONS:

GLUTENFUL CHOCOLATE GRAVY (FLOUR BASED)

Step 1

In a medium size bowl, mix the Swerve Confectioners, cocoa powder and flour together until there are no lumps.

Step 2

Add the milk to dry ingredients, and stir to combine.

Step 3

In large sauté pan or black iron skillet, melt butter.

Step 4

Add the flour mixture and cook on medium heat, stirring continually until it thickens. Usually around 3-5 minutes. If you cook it for too long it will become a paste and not pourable.

Step 5

If the mixture is too thick, whisk in another TBS or two of milk.

LOW CARB/KETO CHOCOLATE GRAVY

Step 1

In a medium size bowl, mix the Swerve Confectioners and cocoa powder together until there are no lumps.

Step 2

Add the milk to dry ingredients, and stir to combine.

Step 3

In large sauté pan or black iron skillet, melt butter.

Step 4

Add the milk mixture and cook on medium heat, stirring every two minutes for about 10 minutes.

Step 5

Remove pan from heat, and sprinkle xanthan gum on top of chocolate mixture. Whisk into chocolate mixture aggressively. Set aside for 10 minutes and let thicken.

Step 6

After 10 minutes whisk aggressively again and serve.

Step 7

I find the gravy thickens the longer it cools before serving.
