  • Mal

Hi- What is the purpose of the 1/2 tsp of baking soda? It's not included in the instructions. Thanks, M

    • Swerve

Hey Mal! We looked into this recipe for you, and it turns out the baking soda was accidentally listed as an ingredient. So there's no baking soda in the recipe. Sorry about the confusion and thank you for bringing this to our attention!

  • Mary

What is the purpose of the vodka?

    • Swerve

Hi Mary! The vodka helps the ice cream have a smooth texture!

  • Catherine

What can I substitute for the vodka to keep the smoothness? Children will be consuming the ice cream.

    • Swerve

HI Catherine! What River said below...glycerin would work!

  • river

glycerin might work instead of the alcohol

  • Trudy
