Hello. Do you give out samples of swerve sweetners? I would love to try it before I spend $10 for a small bag. I don't mind paying the money but I recently spent $13 for another sweetner that didn't taste like it claimed to taste. Thanks very much.

  • Joanna Smith

That would be great, i too have been looking for a sweetener and get bitter sweet. I would like to request for a sample as well.

  • Lisa Adams

I would like a sample of the Swerve before I start baking this week if possible. I read that you give it out to try. I am diabetic and need to lose weight . I have tried a lot of artificial and plant based sweetness and did not like them so wasted a bit of money. If you could help me out to try this product I would be so grateful. Thanks, Lisa A..

  • JUDITH SIMON

  • Cindy

  • Sandra Young

  • TINA JOYCE WILLIAMS

If you use wheat flour in your baking, it breaks down into sugar in your blood very quickly and raises insulin levels, so doesn't this defeat the object?

    • Swerve

Hi Tina - you are right. If you have baked goods made with flour your blood sugar will rise and insulin will be secreted. However, if you have a dessert with flour and Swerve, instead of flour and sugar, that blood glucose response will be much lower than a classic dessert. For people who are new to the world of healthy baking and cooking, swapping sugar for Swerve is a great place to start!

I would love a sample of swerve .. I have tried other sweeteners and didn't like them.. I'm new to keto and would like to find something to bake with but don't want to spend the money on something I might not like. A friend told me about swerve and she loves it. Thank you for your time.. Melissa gagnon

    • Swerve

  • Dyan Tilbrooke

Hello. I have just found Swerve through iherb. I've been using xylitol for many years but frustrated at the laxative effect. My question is.... can I give this to my granddaughter who's kidneys are at only 31%?Many Thanks Dyan Tilbrooke

    • Swerve

Hi Dylan, Thanks for visiting our website! From our research, there is no reason that Swerve would not be safe for your granddaughter. Of course we'd suggest checking with her doctor first!

  • Jackie Wisely

Hello! I was wanting to see if I could get a sample to try. Also, is this 0 net carbs regardless of how much you use in a recipe? Thank you!

    • Swerve

Hey Jackie! We will email you for your address. And yes, Swerve is 0 net carbs even in large amounts!

  • DF Wallace

I, too, am one of those people who have tried the other popular "natural" sugar substitute. I could not stand the bitter taste, but luckily found another Weight Watcher buddy who liked it. I'd like to try Swerve before I take the plunge and buy a bag or the packets.I am curious about the sourcing of the products: What comes from France that can't be sourced in the US? I'm not attacking - I checked pricing on Amazon and Swerve packets are definitely not overly expensive. I'm just curious. Thanks!

  • Verlinda Gross

Non-GMO is great, but are your ingredient sources also completely glyphosate free? In other words, has glyphosate been used on any of the crops as a weed killer or to dry the crops prior to harvest? Thank you.

    • Swerve

Hi Verlinda, Thanks for visiting our website! We do not have this information at this time, but we will surely reach out to our suppliers and get back to you. Thank you!

  • Deborah Lyons

I have been cooking with Swerve for about a month and we have enjoyed the treats! It is is a real treat to have a dessert! My husband & I are both diabetic. We are on a low carb diet. My bff made a carrot cake with Swerve for my birthday. It was great tasting!

    • Swerve

Hi Deborah, We're so happy to hear your are enjoying Swerve! Thanks for leaving this sweet note.

  • Idania

Hi! I would love to try your sweetener, Im in Querétaro, Mexico. Do you have any retail place around here? Thanks

    • Swerve

Hi Idania! We are not yet in Mexico. Thank you for your interest in Swerve!

  • Rob H.

I've heard a lot about swerve recently. I have even seen a few low carb recipes that call for it. However, I'm very sensitive to the taste of all sugar alternatives. Is there any chance I could try a sample? Thank You.

  • Lynn Graham

Hey there! I’m from Baton Rouge and delighted to hear that your successful company is based in New Orleans! I’m trying to follow a Keto diet and many recipes I’ve been given recommend using erythritol, but especially Swerve. I’ve only found the Confectioners 12 oz at Whole Foods but would love a Sample of the Granular please. Are they interchangeable or does it depend on the recipe? The ingredient label appears to be the same. Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you!

    • Swerve

Hi Lynn! Swerve Confectioners is going to be sweeter than Granular because it's a concentrated version of Granular. The one to one measurement will be for the kind of sugar that the recipe calls for. Hope that helps!

  • STACEY WONG

Hi. I recently have been loving Quest bars that contain erythritol but then went to get a bag of erythritol and got some type of allergic reaction so I would like to order a sample if possible! I love baking and have recently been baking with packets and packets of Stevia in the raw.

    • Swerve

Hi Stacey! Sorry to hear that. We'd be happy to send you a sample and some coupons. Please send your address to christine@swervesweet.com.

  • Barbara

The nutrition facts say that one serving has 3 g carbs, and no calories . But there is a message that there is 0 net carbs. I’m a little it confused about this. Does it have carbs or not? Or are the carbs present not absorbed by the body? I am on an extremely carb restricted diet and just want to be sure about the carb content. I really love this stuff!

  • Tammy

I have been using Swerve for deserts and cooking since I got on Keto diet. Recently, I made lemon jam with it and the outcome was poor. After cooling, instead of a jello type of texture, the sugar became crystallized and falling apart. It did not turn into a jello form. I was quite disappointed since I can’t eat regular jam. I used two cups to make the jam. It costed me $10 ($8 per 12 oz I paid). So it was an expensive experiment. I am sharing this so user be aware. But overall, I love this sweetener because I still could enjoy making deserts and put it in my daily coffee without guilt,

    • Swerve

Hey Tammy, We're sorry your jam did not turn out as expected! In recipes that use a large amount of Swerve/erythritol, sometimes re-crystallization can occur. Heating the jam back up will make the jam smooth again, but we recommend adding 1 tsp of gelatin to the jam during cooking to prevent re-crystallization. We hope this helps!

  • Dee Auchterlonie

I haven’t tried your product, will be very soon. Being a baker for years and previously owning Lady D’s Gourmet Goodies in Santa Fe NM I am so excited to experiment with Swerve. Only question I have is what is the shelf life? I will keep in touch on my results. Gonna be busy, my husband I a Diabetic. Thanks for thinking ahead.

    • Swerve

Hi Dee! The shelf life is 2 years. Have a sweet day!

  • Cheryl Harrison

I am interested in trying Swerve, but every artificial sweetner I have tried in the past is very hard on my digestive system, or the after taste turns me off. Can I possibly get a sample before making the expensive investment on yet another swertner?

  • Shirley Harrell

  • Mar Linda Perez

I just saw your add on Facebook and watched your video. I’d like to try this. I love to bake and try new recipes in my “ older” age, but my hormones are changing and I’m gaining weight, so I have to change me ways. It’s hard giving things up, but if I can use this as a substitute for sugar, I can live with change and modification.

    • Swerve

HI Mar! Thank you for the message. We understand it's hard to give up sweet treats completely. Swerve is a great way to get rid of sugar in your diet and still enjoy them! Have a sweet day!

  • Cindy

This sounds like a fantastic product, especially for sugar junkies. Are samples still available? I have a lot of sugar substitutes in my pantry that didn't work out! Thanks!

  • Jack Mc Kie

We purchased Swerve for making Keto ice cream and were amazed at the flavor. We can't afford it for everyday use but will continue to use it for special treats. Great product ! Wish we could buy it at our Sure Fine market.

  • Darlene Reed

Would like to receive a free sample to try.

  • KJS

I really appreciate that you focus on Non-GMO, but I am also quite concerned about the pesticides used on the raw ingredients when they are growing. For instance, glyphosate is easily absorbed by root vegetables and often not washed off of other produce and it kills the natural balance of gut flora and could lead to leaky gut (personal experience here). I would try it if I knew which pesticides were used and whether they can be washed off before processing.

  • Judy Young

  • Brittany

Hi Swerve! I’m interested in trying your product but I have a sensitive stomach. Do you have somewhere I can request a sample? Thank you!

  • Rebecca

I was hoping to get a free sample before I bought this product. I am worried about paying so much for a sweetener I do not like. Thank you.

  • Betty

I would like to try a sample please.

  • Erin

I would love a sample of Swerve before committing to an entire bag. I’d like to try the cruise control diet, but I just can’t let go of sugar in my coffee. Maybe Swerve is the answer. Thank you.

  • Elizabeth

Are your products vegan? I know some natural flavoring can come from animal products.

    • Swerve

      Hi Elizabeth! They are vegan!
