Hot Buttered Rum


  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp Swerve Brown
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg 
  • Pinch ground cloves 
  • 3 ounces dark rum 
  • 1 ½ cups boiling water


  1. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, Swerve, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mix together well with a rubber spatula.
  2. Whisk in the rum (the mixture will be clumpy), then whisk in the boiling water. Divide between two mugs and serve.
